The weekend
What do most people look forward to in an average day to day life?
Some work at least four to five days a week, at a job or school or maybe even their own business ( when you have your own business its twice as hard to only work four days a week and not seven!). For many, the only thing to look forward to is the weekend when perhaps they can get plenty of things done or actually enjoy themselves for once!
There are a few very important days of the working week. Monday is the start of a new week and some people really plow through that day with a yoke. Tuesday isn't as bad knowing that there is a day behind you and now the count is down to three days. Wednesday is so so. But Thursday is the anticipation of Friday which is the anticipation of an unexplored weekend.
And here we are at Friday, perhaps the most exciting day of the week. Friday is the day of "anticipation and hope" that maybe this particular weekend will stand out from the rest, in a good way. That maybe your plans will actually fit together and things will work out the way you want them to. But maybe you don't have ANY plans for the weekend, and your just hoping that maybe your friends have something going on that you can join them in.
But once Saturday is here and nothing spectacular has happened you start to loose hope, because tomorrow is Sunday and Sunday's can be slow and very monotonous.
And then you realize... The weekend is only two days, and the week and weekend are linear going in an unstoppable cycle and while you are thinking about thinking about Saturday on Sunday, before you know it it's Monday again! And then if you really think about it, weeks are a blur, months are a passing fancy and years are like a bunch of falling leaves.
Depressing right? That's why you want to live your life to the full! Finish projects! Do all or most that you intended or more... Life really is too short but you can make it as fun or as miserable as you want.. Really, your the variable and a variable can represent anything, even if time is linear. It's just deciding what you want your life to be and actually living it. Even if you think "I'm too far gone" you don't know how long you have left, and it might be twenty years or more in the life bar... and maybe you still have the wish to do some things.
"Reality hits you hard bro" It's just a matter of how you take it, either life's wine glass is half empty or half full.
So get some things going on the weekend! I got to get off this blog and DO things before its Sunday!!!
