Things to do
It can be very difficult trying to find things to do! Question: Do you plan and have it fall through with friends or do you ten minute arrange when you think about it?
Some people schedule their life, and say "no room for you on such and such a day!" Others have a general idea of how the week goes.
What I have found to be true, is that organizing through email is a nice slow paced way to make some plans. You organize a nice even keel day some two weeks away with maybe four or five friends. All you have to do is just email all your friends! In other words no awkward messages no dozen phone calls and not as much obligation. Then after some email input you send out another message, perhaps with the chosen day and the time.. and then where... and then what happens next. You may have to call friends that you know don't email very much.
Some easy things to plan are Bonfires, day hikes, and maybe some beach days. Somehow I managed to convince six people to go on a 22 mile mountainous hike with me, we left at 9:30 am and came back around 5:30! It was funny, a few of my friends somehow didn't get the picture of how long the hike was going to be... and said that they were glad they didn't know because otherwise they wouldn't of gone! :) But everyone had a nice time anyways and it was possible to turn around at any moment and head back early. I suppose that's either a disaster story or really awesome one! I thought the hike was really worth it, we stopped by two waterfalls, some really different terrain and some really awesome looking meadows.
A few other activities could be having a homemade bonfire where your small group of friends each makes an ingredient for some-mores and food and it becomes kind of like a connoisseur bonfire. Another idea is to play Ultimate Frisbee ( similar to soccer ( also called Football in England and Russia) but with a Frisbee).
Alrighty!
Cheers everyone!
